[10-13-2023] Woman Died Following Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision in ChicoA female pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Chico on Friday morning, October 13, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 10:20 a.m. on Highway 99 at the Cohasset Road overcrossing.

The woman died after allegedly jumping from Cohasset Road and being struck by a brown Chevrolet Tahoe going southbound. The 51-year-old female driver didn’t show any visible injuries.

As investigations continue, there are no additional details concerning the victim or the collision at this time.
