[10-13-2023] Fresno County, CA – Two People Died Following Vehicle Crash on Friant Road

Two people died after a vehicle collision in Fresno on Friday night, October 13, 2023.

According to the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office, the fiery collision occurred before 9:30 p.m. around the area of Champlain Drive and Friant Road.

The victims, identified as a 50-year-old man, Alfred V., and his 46-year-old wife, Selina V., were traveling on Friant Road during the crash. It is not known whether they died at the scene or in the hospital.

Initial investigations have not determined whether other vehicles, drugs, or alcohol were involved in the collision.

A thorough investigation of the incident is ongoing, and it is not yet known what caused it.
