[10-13-2023] Glenn County, CA – Man Killed Following Single-Vehicle SUV Crash Near Willows

A man was killed after a single-vehicle SUV crash near Willows on Friday morning, October 13, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on southbound I-5 near County Road 57 just before 4:00 a.m.

Authorities said the SUV that carried several individuals veered off the road and rolled over into a ditch. The male occupant succumbed to his injuries, but it is unclear if he died in the hospital or at the scene.

The victim’s identity is being withheld until the next of kin is notified. An investigation is being conducted to determine the conditions of the other occupants and what caused the crash.
