[10-13-2023] Juvenile Seriously Injured Following Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision in HemetA juvenile was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Hemet on Friday evening, October 13, 2023.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident occurred at 6:07 p.m. in the 44000 block of Highway 74.

The unidentified juvenile was struck by an unknown vehicle and sustained serious injuries. The victim was airlifted to an area trauma center, while it is unclear if the driver remained on the scene or fled.

Further information regarding the victim or the cause of the collision will be released as the investigation continues.
