[10-14-2023] Fresno County, CA – 56-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Killed Following Vehicle Collision on Belmont Avenue

A 56-year-old pedestrian identified as Arthur A. was killed after a vehicle collision in Fresno on Saturday evening, October 14, 2023.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident occurred on Belmont Avenue near Calaveras Street at around 7:20 p.m.

First responders found the male pedestrian lying on the ground. He was provided medical assistance before being transported to Fresno Community Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Reports indicate the pedestrian was crossing the avenue when he was struck by a Toyota pickup truck. The unidentified driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
