[10-14-2023] Fresno County, CA – Man Died Following Pedestrian vs. Union Pacific Train Crash Near G Street

An unidentified man died after being struck by a Union Pacific train in Downtown Fresno on Saturday afternoon, October 14, 2023.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the collision happened around 5:20 p.m. near Fresno and G Streets.

The victim was struck by the train going southbound while walking adjacent to the tracks. He was transported to the Community Regional Medical Center but shortly died.
