Four people were rescued after a sport fishing boat sinks in Oceanside on Sunday morning, October 15, 2023
The Oceanside Fire Department stated that the accident occurred at 11:00 a.m., a mile and a half off the Oceanside Harbor.
A 22-foot Striper sport fishing boat was capsized and the occupants reported that they were taking in water.
Rescuers arrived at the scene and found all four occupants in the ocean, with two of them using flotation devices. were then shortly removed from the water.
There were no injuries reported. Authorities are still conducting their investigation.
