A 40-year-old man was killed in a collision near the intersection of East Palmdale Boulevard and 150th Street East west of Palmdale on Wednesday afternoon, October 15, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:35 p.m. when Jason H. of Palmdale, driving a 2004 Honda Civic, made a left turn into the path of a westbound 2010 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by a 35-year-old man from Lancaster. The front of the Toyota collided with the left side of the Honda, causing fatal injuries to Jason.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to Palmdale Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. CHP confirmed that alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors.
The intersection was closed for two hours while CHP investigators processed the scene. The collision remains under investigation.
