According to the authorities, two people were killed, and at least seven others were injured after a multi-vehicle crash near the Arden Fair area of Sacramento Sunday, October 16, 2022.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the deadly crash occurred around 9:39 a.m. near Howe Avenue and Hallmark Drive.
Following the collision involving five cars, first responders were reportedly treating multiple patients who were injured in the incident.
Four patients, the conditions of which are unknown, were transported to local hospitals. According to the authorities, the three other patients were treated and released at the scene.
Officials from the fire department determined that there had been two fatalities at the scene.
There is no information available regarding the events leading up to the crash.
Officers are currently investigating with the California Highway Patrol.
