[10-16-2023] Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Two Vehicles in Jurupa ValleyA pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles in Jurupa Valley early Monday morning, October 16, 2023.

According to the Jurupa Valley Police Department, the incident occurred around 3:53 a.m. on Rubidoux Boulevard and Market Street.

When authorities responded to reports of the crash, they discovered that two vehicles had struck a pedestrian. The victim was found lying unresponsively in the roadway and ultimately succumbed to injuries during the collision.

The drivers of the vehicles were uninjured during the traffic collision. They remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The victim’s identity was not disclosed pending notification to the next of kin.

Market Street and 24th Street on Rubidoux Boulevard were temporarily closed as the police investigated the scene, but it did not appear that alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.
