[10-17-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Cajon Pass

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle rider was injured while attempting to split lanes between cars and trucks on southbound Interstate 15 on Monday, October 17, 2022.

The collision occurred at about 3:45 p.m. on the southbound I-15 at the Cleghorn Road exit.

The CHP and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the accident involving a black street bike motorcycle and a damaged gray Chevrolet Malibu.

When rescue personnel arrived on the scene, they discovered the motorcycle and its rider in lanes #3 and slow.

The rider was taken by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The Chevy car’s driver unintentionally locked her keys inside the vehicle, which blocked the same lanes and increased traffic.

The California Highway Patrol Inland Office is investigating the accident.
