Two people sustained injuries following a DUI car accident on Lake Tahoe Boulevard on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
The crash occurred Sunday morning near Taco Bell on Lake Tahoe Boulevard.
According to Detective Sgt. Scott Crivelli of the South Lake Tahoe Police Department, Catherine S., a local resident of South Lake Tahoe, was involved in a two-vehicle collision in which she rear-ended the car in front of her.
Injuries were reported by two passengers in the other car.
SLTPD claims that Sleight showed indicators of alcohol intoxication.
According to Crivelli, officers on the scene put her through field sobriety tests and then arrested her on suspicion of DUI.
Sleight offered a breath sample for evidence, and the BAC was .17. The permissible limit is .08
Sleight is accused of felony DUI after testing more than twice the legal limit and inflicting bodily harm.
$75k was set as the bail amount. Sleight had been freed as of the early hours of Monday.
