[10-18-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – Juvenile Pedestrian Injured After Vehicle Collision in Hesperia

A juvenile pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle in Hesperia on Wednesday morning, October 18, 2023.

San Bernardino County Fire responded to reports of the pedestrian vs. vehicle incident around 7:15 a.m. in the 13800 block of Mesquite Street, just outside Mesquite Trails Elementary.

Upon the arrival of the emergency teams, the child was immediately given aid and was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was reportedly uninjured and stayed at the scene to cooperate with officials.

The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash and the factors involving it.
