[10-19-2022] Fresno County, CA – Two People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Tractor in Fresno

According to California Highway Patrol, a tractor crash caused a woman to be sent to the hospital with major injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor in Fresno Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

The California Highway Patrol says the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. involving a tractor and a sedan on Highway 145 and Floral Avenue.

According to authorities, the tractor was heading south on Highway 145 when a sedan traveling in the same direction rear-ended it.

CHP reports that while the tractor driver walked away with minor injuries, the sedan driver had severe injuries and was taken to the hospital.

While the tractor suffered only minor damage, the sedan was destroyed.

According to officials, it is currently unknown what caused the driver to crash into the tractor.

The crash is still under investigation.
