[10-20-2023] Kings County, CA – Two People Died Following Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Crash in Hanford

Two people died after being struck by a vehicle in Hanford on Friday night, October 20, 2023.

According to the Hanford Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. between Phillips Street and 3rd Street.

A woman in her 60s, along with a 3-year-old and a 9-year-old, were struck by an unknown vehicle.

The three victims were transported to a nearby hospital. The woman and the 3-year-old died, while the nine-year-old is currently in an unknown condition.

This vehicle’s driver remained on the scene. An investigation is underway to determine if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.
