[10-22-2022] A 33-Year-Old Died And Two Suffered Injuries After a DUI Crash on 210 FreewayAccording to the local news, a 33-year-old identified as Charly M. of Pacoima died after a fatal vehicle crash on the 210 Freeway on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

The crash happened around 12:26 a.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway, just west of Roxford Street.

All lanes of I-210 between Wheatland Avenue and I-5 will be replaced with new pavement as part of a $135.5 million project being undertaken by Caltrans. The Roxford Street on- and off-ramps are currently closed because of construction.

Significant injuries were sustained by the driver and one of the passengers, who were both taken to nearby hospitals.

The BMW driver was detained and is still being held. According to the CHP report on the crash, alcohol is thought to have played a role in the collision.

According to the local authorities, Pacoima resident Jimmy M., 31, was detained for murder (LASD) Booking Records.

The crash is still being investigated.
