An unidentified juvenile pedestrian died after being struck by a Metropolitan trolley in Chula Vista on Sunday night, October 22, 2023.
According to the authorities, the incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. between Naples Street and Industrial Boulevard near the Palomar Station on the Blue Line.
Reports indicate that the 17-year-old male victim was struck by a trolley, but the identity of the pedestrian has yet to be revealed.
There was a temporary delay in trolley service in the area while authorities investigated. It was not possible to obtain any further information at this time.
