[10-29-2023] Orange County, CA – 61-Year-Old Male Motorcyclist Killed Following Collision With Vehicle in Huntington Beach

A 61-year-old male motorcyclist was killed following a vehicle collision in Huntington Beach on Sunday night, October 29, 2023.

The Huntington Beach Police Department responded to the incident around 7:00 p.m. on Magnolia Street and Hamilton Avenue

Upon the arrival of officers, they found a blue BMW X3 and a blue Harley-Davidson Softail motorcycle with the identified 61-year-old rider from Costa Mesa, who was declared dead on the scene.

According to initial investigations, the BMW, driven by an 82-year-old man from Huntington Beach, was headed eastbound on Hamilton Avenue and took a left turn onto Magnolia Street.

Simultaneously, the Harley driver entered the intersection heading eastbound from Hamilton Ave. and collided with the BMW as it was making the turn.

No further details of the crash were provided, but authorities stated that visual impairment was not a factor in the collision, and further investigation is underway.
