The Victorville Police Department reported a single casualty following a two-vehicle T-bone collision in Victorville on Friday morning, November 04, 2022.
According to the officers, firefighters from the Victorville Fire Department, together with AMR and the police, responded to the crash after 5:00 a.m. on Amargosa Road and Mesa Street.
The collision involved a maroon sedan and a black 2007 Toyota Corolla. The scanner traffic revealed the Toyota had turned on its side due to the crash’s impact and was extensively damaged on its driver-side.
Three ambulances were called, but one was later canceled after the first responders declared the occupant of the Toyota to be dead on the site.
Amargosa Road was closed for more than five hours in both directions as the investigation continued. Alcohol and drugs are being looked into as factors in the collision.
No other information was released yet, including the victim’s identity and the other driver’s condition.
