[11-15-2022] Minivan vs. Motorcycle Crash in Pacific Beach Severely Injures OneA 23-year-old motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries after a collision with a minivan on Pacific Beach Tuesday afternoon, November 15, 2022.

The crash reportedly occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Soledad Mountain Road close to Loring Street.

According to the San Diego Police, the 23-year-old victim drove a 2005 Suzuki SV650 when the 17-year-old 2005 Toyota Sienna driver slammed into his path.

The motorcycle rider crashed into the left fender of the minivan and lost his balance.

Authorities reported that the motorcyclist r suffered severe injuries, including a brain bleed, lacerated liver and kidney, and an occipital fracture, and was taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the 17-year-old driver suffered scrapes on his face.

Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
