[11-16-2022] San Diego County, CA – 55-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Redwood Village Pedestrian Accident

Local police said a 55-year-old man was seriously injured after getting hit by a pickup truck in Redwood Village in San Diego on Friday early morning, November 18, 2022.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred at 4:15 a.m. in the 4200 block on northbound Aragon Drive.

The victim was lying on the east side of the roadway for unknown reasons when a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 74-year-old man hit him with the front side of the pickup truck.

The pedestrian was brought to the hospital for sustaining life-threatening injuries. The driver was unharmed and remained on the scene.

The SDPD’s Traffic Investigation Unit conducted further investigation. Neither alcohol nor drugs were thought to have contributed to the crash.
