A pedestrian was severely injured after a hit-and-run collision in Bakersfield early Monday morning, November 21, 2022.
The pedestrian was reportedly struck around 2:42 a.m. on Buck Owens Boulevard, just north of Sillect Avenue.
As he crossed the street outside a crosswalk, a dark-colored car struck the victim and fled the scene.
Responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital, but his condition is unknown.
The suspect’s car was last seen southbound on Buck Owens Boulevard.
Further investigations are still ongoing.
