[11-24-2022] San Francisco County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on Bay Bridge Injures Several People

Several people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, Thursday afternoon, November 24, 2022.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 12:41 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 at Treasure Island.

Responders arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment for 18 people.

Some victims were transported to a hospital to receive treatment for their non-life-threatening injuries further.

According to authorities, there were about seven cars involved in the crash.

Further investigations into the crash are still underway.
