[12-01-2022] Man Struck and Killed by Crane while Crossing on Belmont AvenueAuthorities reported that a large crane truck killed one man in Fresno on Thursday morning, December 1, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred around 10:00 a.m. near Parkway Drive, west of Highway 99.

Reports stated that the crane truck driver waited for traffic to clear before turning when a pedestrian crossed in front of the truck and was run over.

According to the police, the truck driver may not have seen the pedestrian due to its high- profile.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was no other information about the victim except that he was male.

Meanwhile, the driver remained at the site and cooperated with authorities.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
