[12-03-2023] Solano County, CA – Pedestrian Killed Following Vehicle Crash on Highway 37 Near Vallejo

A pedestrian was killed following a vehicle collision near Vallejo early Sunday morning, December 3, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision occurred on eastbound Highway 37 near Skaggs Road.

The pedestrian was struck by a Honda Civic driver, but it was unclear what caused it. Reports suggest that the victim died, and no one in the vehicle was injured.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The highway was closed in both directions for more than 90 minutes.
