A 70-year-old woman suffered a broken hip after being struck by a vehicle near Genesee Avenue and Mount Alifan Drive in San Diego on Thursday afternoon, December 4, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred around 1:25 p.m. when a white Mercedes-Benz attempting a left turn hit the woman as she was walking east from Genesee Avenue and heading west on Mount Alifan Drive.
She was transported to a hospital for treatment. Police did not specify whether the driver remained at the scene or sustained injuries.
Detectives have not yet determined the cause of the collision, and the Traffic Division is continuing its investigation.
