A two-vehicle collision caused the death of a driver in Madera County on Tuesday morning, December 13, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 7:00 a.m. on Highway 152 near Road 16.
Authorities state that the Mustang driver ran a stop sign on Road 16 and collided with the side of a Honda.
The Honda driver was taken to the hospital by paramedics, where he was pronounced dead.
Officers have not identified the victim, but he is believed to be in his 50s.
Meanwhile, the Mustang driver was uninjured.
Drugs or alcohol do not seem to be involved in the collision.
