The crash reportedly occurred around 12:38 p.m. on the 2900 block of Sunset Cliff’s Boulevard, near the Interstate 8 off-ramp.

According to reports, a 2007 Honda Accord driven by a 66-year-old woman went south when she failed to stop behind a 40-year-old male driving a 2013 Toyota Tundra, causing the Accord to rear-end the Tundra.

As a result, the Audi was pushed forward and rear-ended a 2019 Ford F-150 driven by a 57-year-old male.

All four vehicles were stopped at a red light when they collided.

Authorities revealed that the female Honda driver was driving under the influence of alcohol.

She sustained multiple open fractures in her legs.

The rear-ended drivers complained of pain, although it was unclear whether they were sent to the hospital.

Anyone with information on the collision is urged to call (858) 495-7800.
