Authorities reported that an Amtrak train struck and killed a person in Pomona on Wednesday morning, December 21, 2022.
According to reports, the crash transpired around 5:40 a.m. near East First Street and Electra Street.
The victim was declared dead at the scene. Details regarding their identity have not been released.
Investigations were underway into the collision.
