The crash transpired around 7:20 a.m., which caused a portion of the Rohnert Park expressway to be closed for about 15 minutes.

At 7:29 a.m., authorities issued a Nixle alert warning the public that the road’s westbound lanes were blocked between Snyder Lane and Country Club Drive.

The hurt pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital to receive medical care.

The driver who assisted the police sustained no injuries.

According to police, the investigation has found no evidence that drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.

According to local news, they are still investigating the reason for the collision.
