One pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car in Palm Springs on Thursday, October 6, 2022.
According to Capt. Gunkel of the Palm Springs Fire Department, the accident occurred just after 1:00 pm in a Starbucks parking lot in Palm Springs.
The crews were called to a pedestrian accident. When they arrived, they discovered a pedestrian who might have broken his leg.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where his condition is listed as stable. The pedestrian is now recovering from their injuries.
The driver reportedly lost control of his car and drove onto the sidewalk in front of the establishment, striking the pedestrian.
The police confirmed that drugs or alcohol were not factors in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
