According to the local authorities, a 22-year-old woman from Sebastopol suffered severe injuries after a multi-vehicle collision on Occidental Road on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
The crash transpired around 3:30 p.m. in an unincorporated area close to Sebastapol, east of Kimes Road. At the same time, both roads are shut down in both directions.
Just east of Hall Road, the woman driving a Jeep Wrangler attempted an “unsafe pass” of some other cars. She lost control and flipped the Jeep, according to the CHP.
She was transported to a hospital in Santa Rosa with significant injuries that were not publicly disclosed but were not thought to be life-threatening.
Although the CHP is withholding her name, they stated that there was no proof that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision. They also noted that it would bring no charges.
According to the CHP, the drivers of the other two cars were unharmed.
