In train collisions, pedestrians are more likely to die than in car collisions, according to the National Transportation Safety Board. More than half of all train accidents involve incomplete or outdated safety features, unsafe crossings, and insufficient warning systems for motorists.

The most effective mode of transportation is by train. Employee and passenger safety is affected by various factors, including conductor skill and maintenance frequency. Using bad shortcuts or being irresponsible makes them dangerous.

Derailments, worn-out tracks, disregard for safety rules, lax security, and numerous factors contribute to train accidents.
