Police are searching for a vehicle that fled after fatally striking one man in Modesto on Friday night, December 2, 2022.

Authorities confirmed that the fatal crash transpired around 9:00 p.m. near Orangeburg and Nelson Avenues.

According to reports, a man was struck by a dark-colored SUV or truck traveling westbound.

When responders arrived at the scene, they discovered the victim lying on the ground.

Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to his severe injuries.
