[08-06-2022] Kern County CA – One Person Dead in Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash in Delano

According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one person died in a two-vehicle collision in Delano Saturday morning, August 6, 2022.

The crash occurred at 2:00 a.m. at Garces Highway and Melcher Road intersection.

The Dodge Challenger and the other vehicle, which has not been identified, were both involved in the collision, as stated by the California Highway Patrol. Both of the vehicles caught on fire.

There is, as of yet, no information regarding what led to the crash.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
