[08-05-2022] Sacramento County, CA - Two-Vehicle Collision Resulted in Injuries and Damaged Tattoo Parlor in OrangevaleAccording to the California Highway Patrol, two people were sent to the hospital. In the aftermath of the crash between two vehicles, one vehicle crashed into a business in Orangevale on Monday, August 5, 2022.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the crash occurred Monday afternoon between Hazel and Illinois avenues, in the 8800 block of Greenback Lane.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the pickup truck struck another vehicle while traveling the wrong way on Greenback Lane, going west instead of east.

The truck then lost control and a wheel, striking the tattoo shop.

According to CHP, one person from the other vehicle and the pickup truck driver was taken to the hospital. Their wounds are unknowable.

According to the fire department, nobody was inside the tattoo shop when the accident occurred.

Investigations into the crash’s cause are ongoing.
