According to the California Highway Patrol, two people have died in a two-vehicle t-bone collision on California Avenue Sunday night, August 7, 2022.
According to the CHP, the crash occurred just before midnight at the intersection of California and San Diego Avenue.
According to reports, a car traveling north on San Diego Avenue did not come to a complete stop at the indicated stop sign. As a result, on California Avenue in westbound Caltrans traffic, the front of the Nissan struck the truck’s driver’s side.
When the emergency crew arrived, they discovered that both drivers had already passed away from their wounds. Later, the victims were revealed to be Marquis P., 25, of Merced, and Ali S., 48.
Mendota officials and the California Highway Patrol are currently looking into the fatal two-vehicle collision.
