[08-04-2022] Los Angeles County CA – One Person Critically Injured In Multi-Vehicle Collision in Reseda

A person was critically injured in a multi-vehicle collision and was being treated at a regional trauma center in Reseda early Thursday, August 4, 2022.

According to the authorities, the crash occurred at 11:08 p.m. to 17730 Vanowen St., between White Oak and Encino avenues.

The person was trapped in a vehicle that was overturned and freed by Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters, department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.

The vehicle knocked down a utility pole, with multiple wires falling to the ground, and struck a commercial building, causing water to flood the inside of the building, Humphrey said.

Two people at the scene declined medical treatment, Humphrey said.

The crash is still under investigation.
