According to the authorities, one person was killed and several others were critically injured after a multi-vehicle head-on crash in Apple Valley on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
The crash occurred at 12:46 pm, near the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Tujunga Drive.
In the collision, three vehicles—a 2017 Subaru Forester, a four-door Mazda sedan, and Robertson’s double-trailer powder hauler—were involved.
A total of four patients—two immediate, two delayed, and one deceased—were present when Apple Valley Fire Protection District firefighters arrived on the scene. They reported that the semi-truck driver was trapped and requested two airships.
