[10-01-2022] Two People Killed, One Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in California CityThe Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the two people killed in the crash as 22-year-old Airam M. of Palmdale and 66-year-old Inez V. of California City.

The crash occurred Saturday on California City Boulevard and Yerba Boulevard.

Two people are dead after a head-on crash in California City Saturday morning October 1, 2022 at 6:17 a.m.

According to local authorities, two people died in a head-on collision in California City early Saturday morning, October 1, 2022.

The crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. on California City and Yerba Boulevards.

According to the officials, the two drivers of the unidentified 2017 Chevrolet and 2021 Toyota models were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third individual was taken to a medical facility for treatment.

According to the investigators, the crash is thought to have been caused by speed and alcohol.

The Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the drivers’ names later.
