[10-10-2022] Fatal Pedestrian Accident Leaves a 72-Year-Old Vietnamese Woman Died in WestminsterA 72-year-old elderly Vietnamese woman died after a pedestrian accident involving a truck crossing the street in Westminster on Monday, October 10, 2022.

The accident transpired around 9:55 a.m. near Bolsa Avenue and Hope Street.

According to the local authorities, they discovered the elderly woman unconscious and suffering from head trauma.

WPD officers and paramedics gave the woman CPR from the Orange County Fire Authority to bring her back to life.

Unfortunately, she passed away at the scene due to her injuries.

According to a preliminary investigation, the truck struck the woman as she crossed the street from north to south inside a marked crosswalk. It was making a left turn from Hope Street onto Bolsa Avenue.

Alcohol or drugs don’t seem to have affected the incident.

While notifying the woman’s next of kin, the deceased woman’s name is withheld.
