Motorcycle Accident Statistics

There were 5,014 motorcycle-related fatalities in 2016, per the Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) of the United States Department of Transportation. A decline in the early 1980s was reversed by a rise that started in 1998 and continued through 2008.
