[10-26-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – Overturned Truck with Trailer Resulted in Unknown Injuries and Major Traffic in Hesperia

According to the authorities, a truck with a trailer overturned, causing unknown injuries and major traffic delays on Interstate 15 on Hesperia Freeway Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

The collision occurred around 2:55 p.m., almost directly beneath the Ranchero Road overpass and near the freeway onramp.

Third and fourth lanes were blocked when a Dodge Ram carrying another pickup truck on top of a car hauler overturned.

Responding fire officials from San Bernardino County checked on the truck’s driver.

It took some time for authorities to release information on how many people were hurt in the crash.

While the tow truck drivers were loading the vehicles, the onramp to Ranchero Road was closed.

A broken sign at the onramp’s entrance was reported to CalTrans.

For several hours, traffic on Mariposa Road southbound was backed up as people tried to use it as an alternate route.

The crash is still under investigation.
