[11-08-2022] Santa Clara County, CA - One Officer Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 17A two-vehicle collision led to one officer sustaining injuries on Highway 17 Tuesday afternoon, November 8, 2022.

According to authorities, the collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. on the highway north of Redwood Estates.

Reports state a driver lost control of their vehicle and struck the officer and his car while cleaning up a former collision.

The officer sustained minor injuries and was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a passenger in the car that struck the officer was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Further investigation of the crash is still ongoing.
