[11-08-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Multiple Injured Following Unexpected Explosion in Long BeachAn unexpected explosion during a live fire training exercise injured 11 people in Long Beach Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

According to authorities, the accident occurred in the morning at 2249 Argonne Avenue’s basement training tower.

As a result, the explosion damaged the building slightly and broke a few windows.

Personnel involved in the training program were immediately evacuated from the building.

One recruit was transported to a nearby hospital for additional injury assessment.

Meanwhile, other participants involved continued to be treated by medical personnel.

The accident is still under further investigation.
