The CHP said at least one person was injured and hospitalized in a head-on collision near Baker on Saturday morning, November 19, 2022.
Officers of the California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the crash scene at 5:53 a.m. at Zzyzx Road on northbound Interstate 15, seven miles to Baker.
The collision involved two pickup trucks, a red Chevrolet Silverado and a white Ford F-150, both with front-end damages.
There was no additional information as to the circumstances leading to the collision. Information on the victim’s identity and condition were also not released.
The California Highway Patrol Barstow Office will investigate the cause of the collision.
