[11-19-2022] Two People Killed in Big Rig and Vehicle Collision in CabazonAuthorities said two people died in a collision between a car and a big rig in Cabazon on Saturday morning, November 19, 2022.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the collision occurred at 1:39 a.m. on westbound Interstate 10, east of Main Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Lexus ES 350 was involved in a collision with the back of a tank trailer while traveling through a construction zone.

The Lexus driver and passenger were killed in the collision. The truck’s driver was unharmed.

The Lexus driver was an unidentified female, and the passenger was a 38-year-old Beaumont resident man.

Drugs and alcohol have not yet been ruled out as causes of the crash, according to CHP officials.
