[11-27-2022] Riverside County, CA – One Killed Another Severely Injured After Single-Vehicle Crash in Temecula

A single-vehicle collision claimed one person’s life and critically injured another in Temecula Saturday morning, November 26, 2022.

The California Highway Patrol confirmed that the crash transpired around 11:45 a.m. north of Clinton Keith Road on Interstate 215 southbound.

Reports state that a woman was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla southbound when she veered toward the Clinton Keith Ro Tad off-ramp.

The driver then returned to the No. 3 lane of the freeway before abruptly veering sharply to the right, causing the vehicle to turn sideways and collide with an exit sign.

The car continued southwesterly after hitting the sign and colliding with a light pole on its left side.

When responders arrived, the driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

Meanwhile, the car’s passenger was taken to Inland Valley Hospital with severe injuries.

The 22-year-old passenger was from Camas, Washington, and the 23-year-old driver was from Portland, Oregon.

Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
