Several people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 41 early Sunday morning, November 27, 2022.
Authorities reported that the crash transpired around 2:30 a.m., near Chukchansi Casino and Jewel Vista Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai Elantra allegedly veered off the road and collided with several rocks.
The Hyundai, along with two other vehicles, was struck by a Toyota Tundra.
Several people were injured, but only one Hyundai passenger suffered severe injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI).
Further investigations on what caused the crash are still ongoing.
