[12-04-2022] 33-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies Following Hit-And-Run Crash in El CajonA hit-and-run collision resulted in the death of a 33-year-old motorcyclist in El Cajon on Friday night, December 4, 2022.

According to authorities, the fatal crash occurred around 8:00 p.m. at the ramp from southbound state Route 67 to eastbound Interstate 8.

Reports state the motorcyclist traveled at high speed when his motorbike drifted into a barrier.

Immediately after the victim was ejected from his bike, a car struck him, and he fled the scene.

Despite the responders’ efforts, the victim died before being transported to a hospital.

The officers investigating the area could not locate the car involved in the accident.

Investigations are still underway into the collision.
